1. Download and install the MetaMask wallet extension

We can download the crypto wallet from the official website https://metamask.io (1). Select the option in the top right corner of the website - Download (2).Choose Chrome (1) option and click Install MetaMask for Chrome (2).

You will be redirected to the official chrome web store. We always recommend downloading software only from the official site or from sites recommended by the developer. You will avoid viruses, malware, and the like.

Choose to Add to Chrome (1).

After downloading and opening (usually automatically) the MetaMask wallet file, you will see a notification from your Chrome browser asking if you want to add the MetaMask extension to your browser. Select the Add extension option (1).

We have MetaMask successfully installed and added to the Chrome browser. To continue, click on Get started (1).

As you may notice, MetaMask does not collect data, addresses, or full IP address. That's why it is so popular among users. To continue, we select the option I Agree (1).
